Industry Support Builds for Goglia Aviation Maintenance Award

The aviation community is being called on to support the creation of the John J. Goglia Trophy, a proposed national award through the National Aeronautic Association (NAA). The award would recognize excellence in aerospace maintenance and, if funded, become the only U.S. honor dedicated specifically to the profession.
NAA is working to raise $200,000 to establish a permanent endowment for the award, covering program administration, selection, and ongoing promotion of the maintenance workforce. Funding beyond that goal will be directed toward a scholarship supporting maintenance training.
