Professional Bio
Ola Blomqvist has over 30 years of experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician with Scandinavian Airlines (SAS), including five years in the Technical Training department delivering type rating and Human Factors training. He served as Chairman of the National Executive Board of the Swedish Association of Licensed Aircraft Engineers (SFF) for two decades and has been an active member of AEI’s Executive Board since 2007, elected President in 2017.
In addition to his leadership within AEI, Ola contributes to European aviation safety and regulation as a member of the EASA Stakeholders Advisory Body Plenary and participates in EASA Rulemaking groups focused on updating Maintenance Training Organisation regulations.
