Description:

Teams will locate a variety of items located inside and outside of the burner can.  Burner can will be enclosed inside of a 3D printed case.

Tools, Equipment, and Materials Provided:

SRV-J-4-1500 Series Videoscope – 4mm Diameter x 1.5m length, joystick control.  Holding arm for videoscope to be mounted to table. Rigid sleeve with locking handle for inspection of hard-to-reach areas 

Snap-on provided tooling (qty one in each of two pallets unless otherwise indicated): None

Procedures:

Inspectors will be given 15 minutes to find all items inside a burner can. Time will not stop until all items have been found. Once all items have been found, inspectors can participate int he "Master Challenge" with the remaining time. One participant will operate the borescope; the second participant will review items, find and check them off a list provided. The judge will monitor to ensure accuracy of items found. Participant needs verbal acknowledgement from judge to confirm item is found before checked off the list. Bonus time will be awarded for review of USA Borescopes google review - one review per team for bonus. (can be on product used, experience at competition, etc).
