Description:

This is a skill event that Competitors will perform an airworthiness inspection of an aircraft tire and wheel assembly.

Tire pressure gauge

Tire tread depth gauge

Valve core removal tool

Flashlight

Snap-on provided tooling (qty one in each of two pallets unless otherwise indicated): None

Procedures:

Accomplish an inspection of a wheel and tire assembly. Competitors will be required to document information, answer written questions while accomplishing the inspection task card. Competitors must inform the judge that they are finished and they will stop the clock. When the clock has been stopped, the event is considered complete, no restarts will be allowed.
