Description:

One team member will safety wire 4 different zones inside the box within the 15-minute time limit. An additional zone may be completed as a bonus once the 4 designated zones are complete.

Snap-on provided tooling (qty one in each of two pallets unless otherwise indicated):

• Safety wire pliers (WTG8A)
• Cannon plug pliers (ATI508KG)
• Flat head screwdriver (SGD2BO)
• 0.020 safety wire (WT105-2016)
• 0.032 safety wire (WT105-3216)
• Diagonal cutters (808CF)
• Needle nose pliers (96ACF)

Procedures:

Once the event starts the competitor will remove 1 side panel. The top panel is not to be removed during the event. Once the 4 designated zones are complete the competitor must notify the judge and the time will stop. If there is remaining time before the 15-minute limit, the competitor may choose to safety the bonus zone. Each safety wire correctly completed in the bonus zone will deduct 30 seconds from the competitor’s time. The bonus time is limited to between the time the 4 designated zones are completed and the 15-minute total time. There is an additional 60-second bonus available for removing all safeties the competitor installed
